Simon Mifsud

Simon Mifsud brings a unique blend of hands-on building experience and real estate knowledge to the Mareeba property market. Born in Sydney, Simon spent the majority of his life there building a successful career in construction, working on large projects and developing a strong passion for property. One of the most rewarding parts of his work was seeing projects come to life and handing over the keys to happy owners.
After meeting and marrying Selena, the owner and founder of Mareeba Property Management, Simon naturally became involved in the business behind the scenes. Over the years he has played an integral role supporting the company, assisting with property inspections, organising building and pest reports, recommending repair solutions, and helping landlords maintain and prepare their investment properties for new tenants.
As a licensed Property Manager and Sales Agent, Simon has extensive practical experience working with Mareeba Property Management’s large portfolio of rental properties. His background as a qualified builder has been invaluable in helping landlords identify maintenance issues, return properties to a high standard between tenancies, and ensure homes remain safe, functional and appealing.
Stepping into the role of Sales Agent was a natural progression for Simon. His deep understanding of property construction, defects, maintenance and value allows him to offer honest, practical advice to sellers. Having a qualified builder involved in the sales process can make a significant difference, giving clients confidence that their property is being accurately assessed and professionally presented to the market.
Simon is proud to now be the face of the MPM Sales Department, helping local property owners navigate the selling process with transparency, knowledge and genuine care. As Mareeba Property Management continues to grow, Simon’s experience and skillset make him a valuable asset to landlords looking to achieve the best possible outcome when selling their property.
